Simumak participated in SMOPYC 2017 with its simulators of machinery and automotive, Maqsim Silver and Simescar Silver.

smopyc2017Madrid, 04/05/2017. SMOPYC 2017 ended few days ago as one of the biggest events in the construction and mining sectors at the international level.

With the intention of presenting the latest technological advances related to these sectors, the Fair of Zaragoza (Spain) became as the host, for the seventeenth consecutive year, of this international event.

Taking into account the vital importance of awareness in terms of prevention during the labor journey and the high costs of training operators, Simumak participated as an exhibitor throughout the event bringing two of its simulators as an example of the effectiveness of integrating simulation in the training process of operators.

Simumak, a company partly owned by the Everis Aerospace and Defense Group, offered to the participants and during the whole event the opportunity to experience in first-hand the feedback generated by driving a car simulator or manipulating a machinery simulator.

Cartel-SMOPYC17The Maqsim Silver and Simescar Silver simulators offer software solutions designed 100% by Simumak with which to complement the traditional system of training drivers and operators. In addition, the machinery simulator allows to drive and manipulate different machines in the same cabin; which favors a reduction of costs in terms of fuel consumption or renting specialized spaces to manipulate real machines. In the same way, introducing a simulator in the training process, allows users to practice different types of maneuvers without risk of suffering an accident.

In the case of the machinery simulator, Maqsim Silver, we can find different exercises in progression of difficulty where the operator can learn how to manipulate from a retro-loader machine to a telescopic handler, wheeled loader or wheeled excavator, passing through a backhoe loader, tracked excavator and forklift machine.

SMOPYC, which has hosted up to 720 companies and nearly 48,000 professional visitors from 5 continents, has become the biggest business center for companies linked to machinery, public works and mining in Spain.
