Shimmak: More than 15 years developing virtual reality solutions
En SIMUMAK we are dedicated to transforming teaching processes through virtual reality technologies. We were born more than 15 years ago as a result of the entrepreneurship of its two founding partners who saw in simulation technology the possibility of creating virtual training tools that will help companies in their training and indoctrination processes.
SIMUMAK is a Spanish company belonging to the Everis group since 2015. In turn, Everis has belonged to NTT Data since 2018. We design and manufacture 100% of our products and we have extensive experience developing simulation solutions for the Automotive, Construction, Mining and Logistics sectors. SIMUMAK has manufactured more than 5000 simulators, which are installed in more than 19 countries and have contributed to the training of more than 20.000.000 people.
Our mission is to preserve lives and reduce accidents, raise awareness of the respect of the risks involved in bad driving practices (consumption of alcohol or narcotic substances at the wheel, driving tired, driving looking at the mobile ...) and maximizing the performance of our clients through our simulators that allow them to minimize accidents at work and maximize your profits, by being able to select and train the most productive operators thanks to training plans in efficient driving (less fuel consumption), by minimizing equipment maintenance, avoiding bad practices and minimizing the number of work cycles, training operators in our simulation environments.
En SIMUMAK We follow a business and product design strategy where we try to ensure that the client's investment is minimal, both in the purchase of the equipment and in its maintenance. Thanks to its modularity, our clients can have several simulators in a single cabin (combining modules) and through the robustness of the equipment that is designed using components widely used in the industry, which stand out for their reliability and limited cost. SIMUMAK has also developed a range of products that allow covering the different needs that a customer may meet and ranging from solutions that can be transported in a suitcase and installed on a table, to simulators that occupy a room, where immersion and simulation begin to be confused with reality.
En SIMUMAK We don't just develop simulators. In order to meet the needs of our customers we have developed what we call product ecosystem which are parts or systems with which the simulator is integrated to give the customer a complete service. In this way we have SOCRATES, which is our platform for managing students, sessions and courses, with TRAINING MANAGER, our tool for creating custom exercises, with SIMFLEET MANAGER, our platform for after-sales service and with the INSTRUCTOR POSITION for the management and iteration with the practice that the student is doing in the SIMULATION STATION risk management.
